This year when replacing we have taken care more than ever to have heifers to cater for all set ups, its clear that a lot of other breeding heifers suppliers have forgotten that not everyone wants or needs these heavily muscled, top end, expensive heifers, we have selected a large number of straight Simmental heifers for instance, more affordable heifers suitable for any bull.
Yes we will still have our “Jalex” type top end replacement on offer as we have supplied for 30 years but we strive to have a variation of types for all budgets and enterprises.
We are happy to speak to anyone that may want to purcahse heifers privately, esp in numbers. We always have plenty on the ground and can accomodate anyone wanting to replace some or build up a herd.
We have no gimmer sale this year in July.

We are absolutely delighted with this years run of sheep. Plenty of types for everyone with quality all the way.
We have added a lovely run of Scotch Mules to this years sale and a real right skinned batch of Texel x gimmers.
Along with the usual home bred Suffolk X Cheviot Mules gimmers that we have forward every year bred from the very best Cheviot mules we can get our hands on put to the tightest skinned suffolk tups that we can buy/ breed.
These gimmers stand for what our entire flock of sheep is about. Big, able, sheep with skins, character and functionality ready to go on and work.
